What is inside
- Leadership alignment: whether leaders agree on why AI matters and where it should not be used without strong review.
- Current staff use: whether you know how people already use AI, including informal use nobody has talked about.
- Workflow opportunities: repetitive reports, emails, and summaries, and knowledge that lives in one person’s head.
- Data and privacy risk: what counts as sensitive, which tools are approved, and how higher-risk uses get reviewed.
- Human review standards: a simple rule that the higher the risk, the stronger the review.
- Training needs and a short list of first 30-day priorities, with a scoring guide.
How to use it
- Answer each item honestly. "Partial" is the most common answer and a normal place to be.
- Read the scoring guide. Mostly "no" means start with leadership alignment and basic safe-use guidelines before pushing adoption.
- Choose no more than three priorities for the next 30 days and name who owns each one.
